“I should have watched this video when I started to learn about Artificial Intelligence”

I began my transition into Artificial Intelligence about a year ago. As you can imagine, a compiler guy going into AI is a huge shift, and I wound up being frustrated quite often. However, about 6 months ago, things started to click. I decided to produce a set of videos designed for engineers with no prior experience with AI and get them the background needed to discuss AI cogently, and QUICKLY. So far, there are six videos (with an accompanying set of Jupyter notebooks – for Python, natch!).

I focus on the absolute minimum fundamentals, and thus, the first 6 videos are all about 10-25 minutes long, and I am confident that it will instill confidence and the necessary background needed for the engineer to do their own foray into AI at his or her own pace.

Soon, I’ll produce another set that will teach the fundamentals of how Large Language Models work, so that the engineer is empowered to train their own LLM, from scratch if needed.
